Heroic Men Launches The Heroic Man Magazine: A Rallying Point for Catholic Brotherhood

Heroic Men, a ministry dedicated to strengthening Catholic men, has released their premiere issue of The Heroic Man Magazine, a bold new quarterly publication calling men to reclaim strength, joy, and purpose in their lives.
The launch marks a major milestone for the Catholic Men’s Leadership Alliance (CMLA), the parent organization behind Heroic Men. Founded in 2018, CMLA has built one of the largest men’s ministry networks in North America.
Now, with the release of The Heroic Man Magazine, the movement expands into a dedicated platform for stories, strategies, and resources that inspire brotherhood and leadership.
Bill Moyer, co-founder and board president of CMLA/Heroic Men, says “This magazine is the next step in our mission to equip men and leaders, build vibrant men’s groups, and transform families and parishes. We want every man to know he is wanted by God and needed in this world.”
What Makes The Heroic Man Different
Unlike other men’s magazines, The Heroic Man isn’t about status or success. It is a field guide for men who are tired of shallow takes on masculinity, offering real stories of heroism, practical habits, and resources to help men live with clarity, courage, and conviction.
The premier issue (July–September 2025) features:
“God’s Mandate for Men” – Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers on the biblical call to serve, protect, and defend.
“The Loneliness Epidemic Among Men” – How brotherhood heals the crisis of isolation.
Heroic Stories – From a former Green Beret who saved soldiers and his daughter, to men overcoming addiction, blindness, and despair.
Practical Leadership Tools – Resources for launching parish men’s groups, mentoring, and disciple-making training.

Each issue is designed to inspire the mind, strengthen the will, and connect men to real brotherhood—both online and in parishes.

A Global Movement of Men
The Heroic Men platform already reaches thousands of men across the world through its app, video series, and events. Its most recent success, the Be a Man! video series with Fr. Larry Richards, became the platform’s most-watched program in just weeks.

The Heroic Man Magazine plans to publish quarterly, to sell through our store for $12 per issue. The first issue available to read free online at HeroicMen.org/magazine.
From 2026 on, when you support Heroic Men at $30 per month, we’ll send you our magazine each quarter as a thank-you for fueling the mission.
